Help Guide Uploading a web site
FTP Programs
The most common way to upload a web site is by using an FTP program. There are many free and paid FTP programs available, click here for a comparison of FTP programs at Wikipedia.org.
Once you have an FTP program installed, you can configure it to connect to your web hosting account by using the information provided in your Login Information e-mail that you received when your web hosting account was activated.
After you have successfully connected to your web site using your FTP program, you can transfer all of your web site files to the /var/www/html directory and your web site will be online immediately.
Control Panel
If you only need to transfer a few files and don't want to install any software, then you may want to use the File Manager in your Site Administrator control panel. The File Manager gives you an easy to use, web-based file management system for adding and removing files and directories from your web hosting account.
To access the File Manager, login at http://www.EXAMPLE.com/admin (replace EXAMPLE.com with your domain name) and then click File Manager on the left menu.
For more information on how to use the control panel, please login to your control panel and then click the Help link on the left menu.
FrontPage
If you are using Microsoft FrontPage to create your web site, then you will need to upload your files through the FrontPage software. This can be done by choosing Publish Web from the File menu. More information is available in the Help menu from within the FrontPage software.
